Description:
After the second devastating war between the Boltians and Kussians few could stomach the thought of more bitter conflict. But during this critical time a sudden shift of power on Mana-Kuissia forces social upheavel in great society of the Kuissian Empire. As always, anything Kuissian is to the detriment of themselves and their neighbors.

Stranded
Type: VBAM Campaign Book
Developer: Rainer Graber
In Playtest: No
Status: Much of the book is complete, with rule throttling in progress.

Description:
The exploration of space was exciting during the Apollo missions to the moon. Today’s shuttle missions have become routine and we haven’t returned to the moon for decades. Space exploration has become stagnant. What would happen however if we found out in the future that the exploitation of the solar system would provide tangible benefits for Earth? And what would happen to these outposts if Earth suddenly vanished?

Contrary to the previous VBAM expansions this source deals with warfare across a single solar system. The complexity is somewhat higher as you have more detailed control over the tactical and strategic decisions of your forces. As you will soon find out there are a lot of similarities to the Pacific Campaigns of World War II. In fact this whole setting was born after a discussion about the feasibility of converting this setting into VBAM. While you can find still hints about this origin you should be aware that this is NOT a WW II game. Although it deals with the ascendancy of carrier warfare over conventional battleships there are several key differences between the settings and what worked in real life is sometimes not the best course of action during this campaign (and vice versa).

Auto Nation
Type: Board Game
Developer: Jay Waschak
In Playtest: Yes
Status: Tested well with happy playtesters, and currently being reviewed for publication options. More news as available.

Description:
Success in the car industry is a combination of other successes. Having the best design or the most efficient production process by no means ensures that a car will be a market sensation. A car company has to project the demands of the market, and plan years in advance to deliver a finished product. This means having the production capacity, labor, design, suppliers, and process all in place before that car hits the sales lot.

Polis
Type: Board Game
Developer: Jay Waschak
In Playtest: Yes
Status: The core of the rules are complete. A great group of testers is evalutation the game while Jay prepares another playtest pack.

Description:

“Many of us who have our homes on Olympus endure things from men, when ourselves we inflict hard pain on each other.”

The legends and myths of Ancient Greece come to life in Polis. As the king or queen of an emerging polis you will compete with your neighbors to win the erratic attention of the Greek gods. Your actions and inactions will earn you their favor, and likewise their ire, as you drive your polis to be the dominant culture in the region. Such attention is not easily earned, you may have to sacrifice your heroes to win sacred artifacts, or be the pawn in a much deadlier feud on Mount Olympus.
Your polis must survive a turbulent time in the Mediterranean by dealing with threats and opportunities abroad. Each player must build armies around various leaders, and develop heroes to earn attention and boons for their polis. There are many roads to victory, all of which cross the fickle nature of the pantheon and their fickle ways.

Mercenary Air Squadron: World War II
Type: Board Game Expasion
Developer: Charlie Lewis
In Playtest: Yes
Status: Writing and testing in progress

Description:
This product, currently in development, will take the action of Mercenary Air Squadron and take it back to days of the Last Crusade – World War Two.

“But there weren’t mercenaries squadrons in World War Two,” you say. “Aha!” I respond. “Ever hear of a group called the Flying Tigers? They were mercenaries.” Essentially, I take that notion and run with it to give you a slightly different take on the air war. MAS:WWII will allow you to take you squadron from the beginning of the war through the end of 1943. From 1944 on, the Allies have the equipment, the manpower, and the doctrines to wage total war in the skies and individual squadrons lose their independence in such an environment.
The initial release will focus on the Mediterranean, and will include most of the planes of the Commonwealth, the Third Reich, Italy and some of the Americans.
