VBAM @ Origins 2010

OriginsLogoVBAM Games is going to Origins! While we won’t have an official presence at the Origins Game Fair 2010, we will be roaming the convention Thursday through Sunday. The entire VBAM crew will be in attendance at the con, which will be the first time that everyone has been together in one spot before. This should give us the opportunity to hammer out the final changes to VBAM 2E — plus get in some well-deserved gaming time.

  1. Curses! It would have been cool to hang out with all of you. Hopefully you will all be there in 2011!

    How was Origins for you all?

    • I know we were a little late trying to round things up for 2010, but we should be back for 2011 and will have to try and arrange some sort of official gathering while we’re there.

      Origins was good for us. It would have been nice to get a bit more VBAM development talk in amongst the gaming, but then I am biased that way 🙂 Otherwise I think we all had a good time. We spent most of our time in the Board Room playing games, admittedly, so we weren’t exactly out roaming the convention like we could have been.

      How about you, Brendan? What kinds of events did you participate in this year? And were you running any this year?

  2. Alas, I can only envy you; this is the summer of no big conventions. Usually, I make either Origins or GenCon. Must say, I prefer the former, but the latter works a bit better for driving.

    The daughter has taken it well, which is as best; she’s getting past the age when hot bedding with dad, her sleeping the day shift, him the night, was feasible. Twins will do that to a vampire…

    If the dust from Origins and the store snafu have settled, do you have any new 2E info to report? Or, did the Board Room defeat even the plans for the ‘crew get together’?
